The main accused of the murder of the Additional District Collector Yashwant Sonawane, Popat Shinde died today (Monday, Jan 31).
Shinde was the main accused who poured kerosene over Sonawane when the victim tried to take photographs of kerosene being stolen from an oil tanker.
The main culprit received injuries when Sonawane held on to him after he was set on fire.
Popat, the oil mafia had more than 70 percent burnt injuries while he was admitted in JJ Hospital on Jan 25.
